Around Across Above
A archiving website with interactive art
We created a website as long as an interactive artwork in the landing page to introduce the public art project Around Across Above and archive its activities, including lectures, workshops, and open research trips.
공공예술 주제심화형 프로젝트 <예술로 가로지르기 - 욕망이 빠져나간 자리: 출몰지>를 소개하고 강연, 워크숍, 오픈리서치 트립 등 여러 활동을 아카이빙하는 웹사이트와 랜딩 페이지 내에 프로젝트의 컨샙을 담은 인터랙티브 아트워크를 만들었습니다.
The interactive artwork on the main page symbolizes the issues in and around the city that the Around Across Above project is uncovering for a sustainable city. A three-dimensional map of the earth, generated by Perlin Noise, changes its appearance each time the user accesses the website, and the user's interactions temporarily leave deep red marks on it, visualizing the desire that constantly sweep in and out of the city.
메인 페이지의 인터렉티브 아트워크는 ‘출몰지’ 프로젝트가 지속가능한 도시를 위해 가시화하고 있는 도시 안팎의 문제들을 상징합니다. 페린 노이즈(Perlin Noise)를 통해 생성되는 3차원의 대지는 웹사이트에 접속할 때마다 그 모습을 달리하고, 사용자의 인터렉션은 일시적으로 이 대지 위에 깊고 붉은 흔적을 남기며 도시의 안팎을 끊임없이 휩쓸고 지나다니는 욕망을 시각화합니다.
