Seasons in the Museum
Interactive art for at the MMCA
“Seasons in the Garden” is an interactive art program where visitors can design their own gardens. Unlike a static, completed object, a garden is a landscape that changes over time. This program allows participants to consider how plants and the landscape will change throughout the four seasons as they go through the process of creating a garden.
Using 15 species of native Korean plants, along with elements like soil, grass, and ponds that are actually growing in the museum’s garden, participants can create planting plans and enjoy the scenery of the garden through the changing seasons🌿.
〈정원의 시간들〉은 관람객이 직접 자신의 정원을 계획하는 인터랙티브 아트 프로그램입니다. 정원은 어느 한 순간에 완결된 멈춰진 대상이 아닌 시간에 따라 변화하는 풍경입니다. 정원을 만드는 과정에서 사계절이 지나는 동안 식물, 그리고 풍경이 어떻게 변할지 고민할 수 있는 시간이 될 수 있도록 변화하는 사계절의 모습을 표현했습니다.
미술관 정원에서 실제 자라고 있는 한국 자생 식물 15종과 흙, 잔디, 연못과 같은 요소를 이용해 식재도를 만들고 정원의 사계절을 감상해보세요🌿
